Main Responsibilities
1) CoE Starter Kit Implementation & Operations
- Plan and execute CoE Starter Kit deployment (Core + Governance + Nurture components as required).
- Configure service accounts, connections, environment variables, and monitoring for stable scheduled runs.
- Operate CoE analytics: track makers, apps/flows usage, premium connector consumption, and policy violations.
- Manage CoE updates/upgrades; maintain a controlled upgrade/testing process to preserve supportability.
2) Governance, Security, Compliance & Retention (End-to-End)
- Define environment strategy (Dev/QA/Prod + controlled sandbox) with clear purposes, access, and data boundaries.
- Design and enforce DLP policies and connector governance (standard vs premium), including exception handling and approvals.
- Align platform with security controls (identity/access patterns, service accounts, least privilege, audit readiness).
- Define retention/records approach for Power Platform assets and data sources in line with organizational compliance needs.
- Maintain governance documentation (standards, policies, decision logs) and support audits with evidence and reporting.
3) Monitoring, Observability & Platform Operations
- Establish monitoring patterns for apps/flows (health checks, failure alerts, performance baselines, and capacity utilization).
- Define operational runbooks: incident management, change/release management, backup/restore, and environment maintenance.
- Troubleshoot platform issues: throttling/limits, connector failures, permissions, environment capacity, and dependency management.
- Create executive and operational dashboards for adoption, risk posture, and platform health.
4) ALM / Release Management
- Set up application lifecycle management using Solutions: versioning, patches, managed deployments to Prod.
- Implement deployment automation using Power Platform Pipelines and/or Azure DevOps/GitHub actions.
- Define quality gates: solution checker, testing approach (unit/UAT), security reviews, and rollback procedures.
- Govern customization of CoE assets safely (extend/copy strategies with upgrade awareness).
5) Adoption Enablement & Community
- Launch governance-aware adoption initiatives: App-in-a-day, maker community, office hours, best-practice playbooks.
- Standardize templates, reusable components, and “approved patterns” for common business processes.
