A career development specialist to plan and execute IT skills and soft skills development and certifications across the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify Training and Development Needs at organization level.
- Create annual learning plan at individual level (Application Development and IT Pro teams).
- Track training progress at regular interval.
- Plan Internal Training and development Sessions.
- Identify gaps in Microsoft competencies and prepares the training and certifications plan for Development and IT Team.
- Review training materials from a variety of sources and choose appropriate materials.
- Evaluate the quality of training courses and implement improvements on regular intervals.
- Maintain the training repository and update the materials.
- Co-ordinate with the external training vendors and deliver tailored training programs and courses.
- Maintain trainee and trainer feedback.
- Oversee the quality of delivered training sessions by external vendors.
- Builds the internal network of internal trainers and organizes the regular Train the Trainer sessions.
- Monitors the best practice in the training area and introduces it in the organization.
- Evaluate individual career development and organizational business needs.
- Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
- Help managers develop their team members through career pathing.
- Track budgets and negotiate contracts.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dev and IT platforms.
- Software development and IT pro skills, a big plus.
- Excellent People Management Skills.
Excellent Communication, Comprehension and Presentation Skills.- Persuasive Nature.
- Has an existing network of quality Online and Offline Training resources.
- Well versed with the top training resources available in the industry.
- Has an existing network of good quality skill assessments.
- Any Bachelor's degree.
- 2- 5 years of experience designing and implementing career development programs in mid/large size IT services firms dealing with US/UK clients.
- Must have atleast 2 years of experience in planning training and certification for Microsoft Competencies
